At Brubaker Photography, we want your portrait experience to be perfect and one of a kind. We've found that communicating some of our policies and frequently asked questions in advance helps answer many questions ahead of time. What is the Session Fee?
Due to our high-demand, the Session fee is required at the time of scheduling to reserve your time and location, in addition to your photographer's expertise and investment in creating your portraits. Session Fees vary depending on the Session you're interested in. Our different session types can be found on our Sessions page. No matter the session selection you can be sure it will be an experience to remember! We will help you feel relaxed and confident, bringing out the 'you' people know and love!
What if I Need to Reschedule or Cancel my Session?
Your session fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is given within 24 hours of your scheduled session. Alternatively, a cancelled session fee may be applied towards a rescheduled session within 6 months. We do ask that you reschedule your session if your child is sick or unusually cranky.
Where Do We Meet You for Our Outdoor Session?
We photograph throughout the Pacific Northwest from the coast to the mountains and everywhere in between. Two days before your session expect an email from us with specific directions to your location and the direct contact information for Craig and Sharon in the event you're lost or running a little late. When Do We See the Images?
After your Portrait Session, we will schedule you a 1.5 hour long Viewing & Ordering Session to be held either in your home or online. At this session, you will be able to view your non-enhanced images and place your order from your portrait selections. For this reason make sure that everyone involved in the decision making process is present. When you've selected your images, we'll discuss any enhancements you would like made.
Do You Retouch the Images?
Every Brubaker photograph is carefully hand edited by our retoucher to ensure the best color and image quality possible. We lightly enhance each image taking care of under eyes, wrinkles, stray hairs, blemishes, background distractions and teeth whitening. Any enhancements beyond those listed are available upon request. All images are available in color, black & white and vintage tones.
Do You Have Invitations or Announcement Cards?
Yes, we have over 100 pre-designed cards with the option of fully custom designed cards. The colors and fonts in our designs can be customized to fit your personal style. We provide design and printing for birthday invitations, birth and graduation announcements, and Holiday cards.
Do You Offer Framing and Larger Sizes?
We carry a full line of traditional, boutique and modern frames. We can help you select which frame will compliment both your portrait and your home. All portraits are guaranteed for life. We are professionally trained to frame your portraits to archival standards, ensuring your portrait art will stand the test of time. We offer a variety of sizes, from wallets to life size and custom sizes in between. All images 11x14 and larger are considered Wall Portraits and are hand signed by our Portrait Artist, Craig M. Brubaker.
It is our pleasure to assist you with complimentary Collection Installation.
All orders must be paid in full at the time of placement unless a no interest payment plan is arranged. Due to the custom nature of our business, we cannot make any changes to your completed order beyond 24 hours of your Viewing & Ordering Session. Beyond this point all orders are non-refundable once full or partial payment is received. Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted.
What Happens to the Images I Did Not Select?
Non-ordered images will be held for an additional 45 days after your order date. All ordered images will be archived for your safe keeping at multiple locations at no additional fee. After the 45 days, non-ordered images will be discarded.
When Will My Order be Ready?
Prints and products will be ready within 6 to 8 weeks from the date your order is placed. As soon as your order is complete, inspected and approved we will contact you to schedule a pick-up or drop-off. Shipping is available for a fee and can be requested at any time.
Do You Participate in Auctions or Events?

All images are the sole property of Brubaker Photography and are protected by federal copyright laws. Copying of any kind without permission is illegal and strictly prohibited. We retain the right to use images in promotional materials and social media, unless otherwise specified by our clients at the time of order.
